The vibration of handpiece becomes weak

1.   The screw threads of Baolai scaler tips maybe are different from other factories’. The threads of Baolai’s T series tip are also different from S series. Please use T series tips for our scalers which are compatible with EMS. Below poor phenomenon or problems maybe happen if other brands’ tips or Baolai’s S series tips are used to Baolai’s scalers which are compatible with EMS.

! Unnormal vibration is caused by improper screw threads.

! Worn or damaged tip of other brand falls down to patient’s mouth.

! The screw threads of handpiece are damaged, worn out or broken early.

2. Please use our wrench to screw the tip tightly to avoid weak vibration. The tip may be loose after working for a long time, please check and screw it again.

3. Don’t use cracked tip, otherwise it will cause damage to the tip or stop vibrating.

4. The vibration will become weak or stop when there is impurity on the screw threads of tip or amplitude transformer. Please clean the impurity.

5. Please don’t grind, bend the tip or change its bending, otherwise it will cause damage to tip or stop vibrating.

6. The tip is a consumable accessory. After working for a long time, the worn tip will cause weak vibration. Please follow the instruction of varios tip card in the color box of scaler. Pay attention when the tip is worn by 1mm and near the yellow line, and please replace the tip when it is worn by 2mm and near the red line.

7. Improper output power setting of scaler tip. If output power is too low, it will cause weak vibration or even stop vibrating.

8. Improper storage environment:

8-1. Please don’t soak handpiece into the disinfectant liquid, such as iodine, also don’t soak it into liquid for a long time.

8-2. Please don’t sterilize the handpiece by improper device, such as pressure cooker.
